Some of us choose to install a spring on the rear brake pedal to avoid brake drag for racing.
This also helps deaden the rear brake, allowing for a better feel that makes the rear brake more usable.

This spring installs between the rear master cylinder and the brake pedal to force the pedal to the up position so the rear brake is disengaged.
