Tightails is made for racing only. They are not designed for use with Street/OEM Bodywork. Tightails is made for race bodywork which do not have headlights, tail lights, mirrors, etc.

Will fit the model years 15+

The TighTails subframe for the Yamaha R1offers an extra rigid seating platform while only tipping the scales at 3.1 pounds.

Our use of 6082 Aluminum as well as heavy duty TIG welds make the extra strong/lightweight subframe possible.

Any Supersport or Superbike tail section will mount up without modifications as long as the tail section attaches to the subframe from the top. The lower draft shield requires minimum trimming.

Subframe comes with: Rear Tray, Spacers (to be used with some aftermarket suspension), STD Rear bracket.

*NOTE: Some European bodywork requires a different shorter rear bracket. Select support bracket EURO to get the proper bracket.

Available in Brushed Aluminum.
