This experience has been gained working with some of the biggest air filter companies in Europe in areas such as World MX, Dakar (bikes, cars and trucks), Moto GP, WSB, BSB, AMA and even Rallycross. The knowledge gained during this period was invaluable and led MWR to develop their range of performance foam filters.
Performance (Standard) air filter (MC-040-17) for road bikes
Not just a copy of the OE filter, but a much better
designed, high flowing filter. Suitable for everyday riding and even
occasional track days! you can run this with out extra tuning, but as
always, more air means more fuel and you should have your bike Tuned
(See links below) Clean and oil at least once a year.
Full Race filter (MC-040-17-R) (black)
MWR developed the Full Race Filter for riders looking for
the
best out of their bike when participating in racing or trackdays.
They offer the best air flow possible from such a small filter. -
Tuning is HIGHLY recommended due to how much more air your bike will be
bringing in (See links below)
The printed logo on the front of the filter as
indication of how dirty the filter is. The filter will be dirty very
quickly (just like all other airfilters for this bike) because of the
small size of the filter. It is very important to keep this filter
cleaned and oiled regularly

The TR 923 has more adjustability and will have a better rider, see below for details. I would personally go with the TR 923 and just let the Ohlins Swedish gold shine!

The Kawasaki Z900 does not come with a quick shifter from the factory so this has been the perfect upgrade. Translogic bi directional Quickshifter for Z900 models 2017 onwards with standard road shift or inverted race shift gear lever set-up which does not mean blipper! it can be used in either direction meaning you can choose to select your gears in the standard road fashion 1 down 5 up or if you ride track you may want to flip it and use 1 up 5 down, this is helpful when leaning over to the left and needing to upshift so your foot does not get wedged between the road and the bike.

Unsprung weight is important but not as important as the performance of the brakes.
