When you order bifoclas or varifocals we send the frames out to you before making your prescription lenses. You will use the frames to take some important measurments. Next, you'll send back your frames free of charge so that we can produce your perfect prescription lenses. In the design and manufacture of this component, the focus is on weight savings (usually savings of about 70% compared to the original component), higher rigidity and a perfect design.
This carbon part was manufactured according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave completely from prepreg material and in the next step, to protect against environmental influences, covered with a clear plastic coating. This plastic coating surpasses the usual clear coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating does not only score technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure once again.
We recommend using the bodywork parts only in combination with other parts from the carbon racing series (see Accessories tab). Racing fairing parts cannot be mounted together with OEM fairing components, there is no positive fit.
