The aero wheel covers were created in cooperation with the experts from BMW Motorsport. The carbon covers reduce the turbulence on the front wheel and ensure an improved flow of air to the cooler. The covers unfold their full potential on long straights and at speeds of over 200 km/h. Made by Ilmberger Carbon.

For the carbon, Ilmberger Carbon only uses prepreg fabric specially produced for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, which is painstakingly laminated by hand and hardened in several stages in an autoclave, impresses not only with its unique appearance but also with its technical properties. With the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a fraction of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced due to the high fiber volume content.
In order to optimally protect the material from environmental influences of all kinds, Ilmberger Carbon, as the only carbon manufacturer in the world, uses a specially developed plastic coating. In combination with clear lacquer, this ensures a special depth effect.
